ANEJO

SYNOPSIS
A bar in which nothing works... the owner sleeps… a dog at her side attends the place… an old man steals the last drops of the drinks left on the tables. At the end everything gets lost, even the reason ... one last drink will make them human. 


DIRECTOR'S BIO
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1988, studied film and TV. Very early in college, she discovered traditional animation and since then she has developed her own projects experimented with the combination between traditional techniques and digital tools. Añejo is her first short film in traditional animation and took near to three years of work.

Filmmaker (ENERC) and Industrial Engineer (ITBA). Dir at NAH! Contenidos. Dir at Calma Cine and Founder and Director at Lumpen Films. He has done short films that were screened and awarded in national and international festivals, video clips, commercials, TV, web series, advertising, etc. 

PADRE

SYNOPSIS
Argentina 1983. A woman is devoting herself to the care of her sick father, a retired military commander. Her daily routine is set by the ticking of a clock which accompanies all of her tasks. As days go by, the woman withdraws more and more into her own little world, refusing to face reality.

 

DIRECTOR'S BIO
Born in1979 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Designer in Visual Communication (National University of La Plata), animation filmmaker, illustrator and comic book author. He worked as 2D animator in 7 feature-films. Awarded twice with a grant by the National Fund for the Arts, Argentina. With his independent animated shorts he has received more than 120 international awards, mostly with his multiawarded short "El Empleo", in festivals such as Annecy and Hiroshima.

 

YO TE QUIERO!

SYNOPSIS
In his usual way back from school Juancito, a solitary country boy from Patagonia, meets a little horse which seems to be abandoned. The joy of having a new and wonderful friend to play with makes the boy think he can keep it. He cannot realize that the horse is actually waiting for the return of his real owner.

 

DIRECTOR'S BIO 
Nicolas Conte was born in 1989 in Benito Juarez, a little country town in Argentina. He began making puppets as a child for school plays. Then he studied Image and Sound Design at University of Buenos Aires discovering the cinematographic language and the animation world. So the puppets of his childhood take a new form and he creates "Yo te quiero", his graduation film and his first stop-motion movie.
