Set in the vibrant city of Miami, this is the inspiring story of Vera, an 18-year-old pianist with extraordinary talent, who has just aged out of the foster care system. Alone and uncertain about her future, Vera finds solace and passion in the world of Latin Jazz, a genre that mirrors her own complexity and vibrancy. As she navigates the challenges of adulthood, financial struggles, and lingering emotional scars from her time in foster care, Vera embarks on a journey of self-discovery and resilience.
