YULÍ
Yulí is a 17-year-old girl from a middle-class family in Medellín, Colombia. Ever since she was little, she has been intrigued and afraid of the neighborhood that has grown up on the mountain in front of her home. Tormented by the loss of her father, she takes refuge in her thoughts. An encounter with a mysterious figure will awaken in her an awareness that will allow her to face her fears and prejudices.

Geometric figures of symbolism are explored through the texture and color of metamorphosis and transformation. The interrelationships between sound and animated images represent an expression of another dimension in time and space. The visual imagery was created by using a digital microscope and a DSLR camera with the technique of frame-by-frame.
