In Nine Shots, Jorge confronts the images he and his mother recorded throughout their lives, creating a first-person account about his trials, tribulations, and the dreams he realized through bloodshed.
This testimony also shines a light on the youths going to combat in Colombia's internal armed conflict -whichever side they may fight for-and the mothers who give birth to sons thrust into a war.

DIRECTOR BIO
Jorge Giraldo was born in Cali in 1980. Nine Shots is his first film. It is the result of his graduate thesis, supervised by the documentarist Carlos Rodríguez Aristizábal, who then participated in the script and final editing of the film.
